Santa Maria della Salute, shown here, is a prominent Roman Catholic church and minor basilica located at the Punta della Dogana in the Dorsoduro sestiere of Venice. It is one of the most recognisable landmarks in Venice, famous for its striking dome that can be seen from various points throughout the city.
