The "reportage" could be considered successful if not for the huge glare. Is "sepia" or something close to it appropriate in a reportage? I think "black and white" would be better... The event is a mother and daughter (presumably) basking in the midday sun and their relationship. Why a summer cafe? And there's also a small fence leading the eye away from the main characters to the cafe... And in general, all the lines are diagonal, leading the eye to the left of the cafe, away from the main characters.
