I liked the photo. It's not a random shot... I hope... but the random person in it and his emotions, his look... there's something there.

Egor Dovgosheya, I didn't quite understand what they meant. I was standing, smoking, and looking around. A character appeared, unsteady on his feet and standing out from the crowd. I lined up the shot, waited for him to pass the sign, and... that's it. I was shooting wildly.

kolomura, last week (see EXIF) was on Svyati Kavi.

ash, not bad, but why so much pavement?

View crop It's a banal piece of advice, but since there's no one else, I'll be the first...

But why so much pavement?
Valentin Zakharov, For a sign. I was thinking about this option View crop

Kolomura, Oh, yeah :eek, I was looking for people living in Lviv before the trip, and you didn't mention it in your profile I'll keep that in mind

For me, Zh.Zh is preferable to something like Spring - it loses the reportage, an element of posing appears, or something...

Valentin Zakharov, if "an element of posing appears," then framing won't really help, IMHO. And you need to think about it... thanks

View cropIn your version, he seems to freeze like a specialist with a sign, the movement is lost, for some reason I perceive it that way. A more standard framing somehow conveys more of what is most important - the moment in motion is captured.

Nice shot. I'd cut the left one off. Valentin Zakharov suggested a decent option.

Valentin Zakharov, no, it's better with the pavement. Loneliness in the big city.
