View crop I think that would be enough...in any case, we definitely need to get rid of the lanterns!

What are you saying? I understand that you saw the girl looking into the distance through the gap, but nothing prevents us from seeing her. If we do that? All the volume and space around us, all the charm of the surroundings, and the figure lost in them, would be lost. They're taking this photo. Otherwise, we wouldn't see how the wall and flowing curtains whisper, how the dark decorative elements on the left create perspective and harmonize with the girl. The room itself has such a stunning, majestic atmosphere that the background becomes a figure, and the figure inscribed within it, being the semantic center, complements the space and is in complete harmony with it.
Nevertheless, thank you for the recommendation and for your opinion. I've seen your work; we probably see the world a little differently, but your perspective is also interesting. I would advise you to do what Yegor Voynov taught me: see the space around you so that the work doesn't look flat.

How do the dark decorative elements on the left create perspective?
Unfortunately, perspective is a problem here. There's no room for perspective development, nor are there any elements that create it. Even the lines on the linoleum are weak in this regard.
The background becomes the figure, and the figure inscribed within it, being the semantic center, complements the space and is in complete harmony with it.
I'm a bit blind, unfortunately, so I didn't see this here.

, thanks for at least looking. This is me comparing it to the version I was offered. And feel free to criticize this particular photo.

Opla, I think you are exaggerating a bit...

Maybe. There was a version with the girl by the window, the angle was a little to the left, so the balloons and the wall weren't in the frame. The second window on the right and the lone pot of geraniums on the windowsill were in the frame, but those are completely different photos. I really like this room, this hall, so much that it was important for me to reflect that in the photo.

...
Oh, I always exaggerate.

You could say something about the photo, not about me

Perspective is a bit of a problem here
angle:lol - it's perspective , this is a photo where it's pointless to show it, but it's at least a little bit against the proposed cropping option. Or do you agree with it?

Opla, if you could just learn to insert the name of the person you're replying to, it would be a lot easier.
Or do you agree with him?
I don't like the author's framing or the crops.

Or do you agree with him? I meant Gagarin. Everyone has the right to their own point of view, even if it doesn't coincide with everyone else's. I understood this after looking at his work and I understand his approach. That's how it works for him.

Opla, follow the link "My Notifications". Isn't it convenient?
To do this, just click on the name above the avatar of the person you're replying to (on the left).
[quote]For him, this is one way, for you, that way, for me, that's another.

I really liked the photo!
I liked the way it was constructed (no crops), and most of all, I liked how the author defended her vision, her point of view.
Good luck and success to you!

Opla, “The sign of a person’s immaturity is that he wants to die nobly for a just cause, and the sign of maturity is that he wants to live humbly for a just cause,” there’s something to that, isn’t there?

That's my character... I guess. Nothing else, I don't have the habit of thinking in cliches.

a.Bulochnyj,
wants to live humbly
"If life is going well, it means it's cracked"

A sign of maturity is that he wants to live humbly for a just cause
It means we have a mature society, or rather, overmature.

They must be talking about you: an electric broom... probably)))

And about yourself, you say something like: I swim in verbal nonsense like a fish in water (c)
for a just cause - humbly
I know you won't be offended

P.S. We're waiting for your new, God forbid, non-clichéd, masterpieces :curvesmile

you missed the point.

They must say about you: electric broom...
but that's spot on. The word isn't very flattering, of course, but God bless you but the meaning is correct.
