Clouds float between the mountains, in gorges, washed ashore by the wind like boats, and then rise, crawling over peaks and passes. The weather at this altitude changes every half hour: a cloud covers you, and you're caught in a wet fog, emitting rain, snow, or hail; after a few more minutes, the warm August sun warms you. Life is like a fairy tale, with day and night, seasons, scenes, and scenery constantly changing. Like in a movie, you experience several days, weeks, or years in two hours. Five people from our group are walking ahead; Rakovich and I leave a little later, taking photos. Ahead on the glacier, you can see four members of the team that went ahead; we met them before the ascent—serious, well-prepared guys.
See Vitalik's photo from above, from the snow ridge: https://photoclub.by:80/work.php?id_photo=19547. We crossed the stream and headed towards the glacier.
