Vera Petri, Some people might have "trifles" flying around. I only have solid salmon :-) ))
Vladimir (Volf) Kirilin, The aerial perspective is a bit overdone. At this scale, the salmon's natural color should show through, not just the sky-blue hue. I think.

Viktor Kirillov, Good observation. I double-checked everything and got it right. I think my tonal perspective and color are pretty accurate. The thing is, I live in the Negev Desert, and this was shot in Arad, just before the long descent to the Dead Sea. Our sky is constantly clouded with fine sand, and the color of objects desaturates significantly with distance. (For example, a pure blue sky can only be seen here during the 3-4 winter months and only north of Kiryat Gat.) If the body of a mythical whale 70-80 meters long was there, the saturation and contrast would be exactly like this. But the observation is very useful and interesting. Victor, you're at your best once again! 😉
I haven't lived in the desert, and neither have most of the viewers here. We're unfamiliar with the peculiarities of the air layer there. Near the ground, where the girl is, I'd still believe in such a sandstorm, but at altitude, where salmon fly, the sand is unlikely to cling to such a thick blanket; even near the horizon, it's more transparent. By the way, for greater volume and naturalism, the whale could be painted to suit its size; closer to us, it would be darker and more colorful, and the tail would be blurred by the haze.

Viktor Kirillov, Colleague, I appreciate your knowledge and experience. But I'm SURE: the salmon flying past looks just right in my photo

You know better from there. In light of recent dramatic events, I won't insist on my vision of flying salmon.
